according to Clara Heppner, who is alive, 73 years old. HAS spoke
with her recently. This may mean that she was unmarried at the time
of her arrival in the US. This conflicts with his earlier statements
that her daughter and son in law (Mary Heppner and Adam Szumski) came
over to the US in the early 1860s.
