[NI0550] As the story goes Samuel Bradley of Boston changed the spelling of his name to Bradlee because there were too many Bradley's in the Boston area at the time.
Samuel Bradlee was a fisherman and a weaver.
He was also the Constable of Dorchestor MA in 1753.

[NI0559] Nathan Wait was reported to have been a blacksmith.
Medford Ma was believed to be the first town to rescue slaves.
Nathan was reported to have lead the rescue. See "The History of the town of Medford" by Chas. Brooks

[NI0567] Frank was in WWI, Brought back a German named Joe. Frank Changed his name while living with an older woman who had the last name of Burton, who told fortunes for a living.

[NI0645] Nathan is mentioned on a list of those over 21 living in Dorchestor in 1700.
In 1712 he and others undertakse to build a warf on Wales Creek.
He was found dead Dec 13 1763 in the water, still floating:
Susposed to have fallen out of his canoe. "Ye Same Day"

Petitioned for a liscence to sell cider in 1673
In 1680 he became Sexton to Dorchestor, His duties were to "Ring" the bell, cleanse the meeting-house, and carry watter for baptism.
While the bell stood on the hill he was to recieve 4 pound per year to be reduced to 3 pound 10 shillings after the bell was moved to the meeting-house.

[NI0649] John Bradley was a registered freeman.

[NI0658] Joseph Bolles Ely Jr., was a forest ranger and he headed the group of people who designed the first air tankers.
He is commemerated on a plaque at the Willows Airport, Willows, CA and a Smithsonian exhibit on the history of the air tanker.

[NI0659] Charlotte Louise Ely is a well-known watercolor artist.
(known by Charlotte Britton) She divorced Alfred B. Britton Jr. and re-married John Anderson who is an artist and architect.

[NI0660] Alfred B. Britton Jr. (now deceased) was a lawyer and president of the bar association

[NI0661] Barbara Claire Britton is a mechanical draftsperson, and divorced from Thomas E. Weis.
Barbara has been a major contributor ti this genealogical record by providing her notes reguarding the history of the Bradlee clan.
